About Beth
Commercial executive, retail & ecommerce expert, keynote speaker, non-exec director, tweed enthusiast
Being at the forefront of the evolution of technology for the past two decades, I have turned being curious into a career - understanding trends, developing innovations, growing teams, and building businesses.
Most recently, I was Vice President for Southern Europe, UK & Ireland (SEUKI) at Pinterest, proudly leading our business efforts and partnerships across the UK, Ireland, France, Spain, and Italy. I first joined Pinterest as UK Managing Director in 2024, and was Interim Lead of Europe before moving into the VP role in 2025.
I previously worked as Director of Sales at Spotify, where I looked after our largest global partnerships spanning retail, beauty, tech, travel, dating, and mobility.
I spent twelve years at Meta (Facebook / Instagram), where I established and grew the platform’s retail business on both sides of the Atlantic. From the early days of building a fan base and implementing the Like button, to developing complex metaverse applications and AI-driven performance marketing, my work shaped how Meta and its partners went to market, hit and exceeded sales targets, and delivered category-leading growth.
Before I was in social, I was in search, running global SEM for Expedia, Microsoft, Intuit, and others at Efficient Frontier. I began my career in the early days of online commerce, in the creative department of Macys.com.
I have greatly enjoyed hiring, developing, and leading high-performing teams, with an eye for talent, passion for creating opportunity, care through coaching, and a willingness to have the hard conversation. As proud as I am of the major milestones in my career, there is nothing that approaches the satisfaction felt from helping someone find a new gear, get promoted, and soar.
I am a frequent board director and advisor, concentrating in marketing modernization for retail brands. I spent three years on the Board of Directors of The Fragrance Foundation UK, where I focused on marketing and education. In 2019, I served on the advisory board of Tech. by Retail Week, a major retail conference in London, helping to develop the content, themes, and speakers for the event. Since 2023, I have been a Non-Executive Director of NiX by Nicola Harding, a home goods startup under the umbrella of Nicola Harding & Co, a leading UK interiors firm. I have been a Trustee of Crouch End Festival Chorus since 2024.
I’m a sought after public speaker, and have delivered keynotes at major events in the US, UK, Europe, and the Middle East. From Advertising Week to Mobile World Congress to giving a TEDx talk on technology, youth, and change, I have shared my perspective on the industry and how brands can best embrace change to grow sales, deepen loyalty, and future-proof their business. More on this can be seen on my Speaking page.
And finally, I’ve been recognised by my industry for my leadership. I am #8 on the 2026 Performance Marketing World Powerlist (up from #18 in 2025), which details the top 100 performance marketing professionals that have made the biggest positive changes for the UK industry over the past year – as nominated by their peers. My Pinterest France team won a Silver Award for Media Agency of the Year from The Media Leader FR in January 2026, and my Pinterest UK team won Online Platform of the Year at the Campaign Media Company of the Year Awards in April 2026. Modern Retail named me one of their 25 Top UK Retail Industry Influencers for 2023, CIO Look magazine profiled me as one of the 10 Most Influential Leaders in RetailTech, I was nominated in the ‘Inspirational Role Model’ category of the 2024 Burberry British Diversity Awards, and I was featured on the July/August 2024 cover of London Business Matters magazine.
Outside of work: I am passionate about the arts, having founded and run an award-winning theatre company in New York in the early 2000s. I sing with Crouch End Festival Chorus, one of Britain’s leading symphonic choirs, with performances at Royal Albert Hall, Royal Festival Hall, BBC Proms, The O2 Arena with Andrea Bocelli, Wembley Arena, King’s College Chapel, The Sheldonian Theatre, Alexandra Palace, and the Barbican, amongst other venues. I can be heard on CEFC’s recording of ‘The Kingdom’ by Edward Elgar, the Masters of the Universe score (music by the Academy Award-nominated composer Daniel Pemberton), and I have recorded at Abbey Road Studios and AIR Studios. I made my Carnegie Hall debut in 2024, performing the works of Christopher Tin.
I am a proud dual citizen of the United States and the United Kingdom, live in north London with my golden retriever, Bridget, and head north to Scotland every chance I get.
